Privacy & AI use

Your account and membership

ResusNation uses your email and account details to sign you in, check your membership, and show the resources included with your pass. Use the same email as your membership checkout. Authentication and app data are hosted with Supabase; membership and billing records are checked through our connected billing services.

Payments and cancellations are managed through the membership billing portal. The app does not ask you to post card details in the community or send them to support.

We keep a restricted trial-use history for each pass to prevent repeated free trials, including after an app account is closed. Gmail dot and plus aliases are treated as the same email identity. Trial-use checks do not change or charge your subscription.

Community and educational tools

Community posts, profile details, and replies are visible to members who can access the community and to its moderators. Never post patient identifiers, confidential clinical records, passwords, or payment information.

The Case Simulator and AI Journal Club use connected AI services. What you type or say is sent to the service providing that experience. The simulator uses your verified membership email to record progress and CME credit. Journal Club voice discussions use Vapi and its voice infrastructure. Review the provider’s information before sharing anything sensitive.

AI responses can be incomplete or incorrect. These tools support education and are not a substitute for clinical judgment, local protocols, or patient-specific care. Use fictional or de-identified examples.

Optional notification emails

You can opt into announcement emails, replies to your own community posts, and a daily or weekly community digest in Email preferences. Your email address and the notification are processed by our email delivery provider. Community message text is not included; emails link back to the app. Delivery history is retained for up to 90 days. Every optional email includes an unsubscribe link. Account, security and billing messages are separate.

Optional device push notifications

You can separately enable announcement and reply alerts on each supported device in Notification preferences. We store that device’s push subscription and encryption keys in restricted server tables. Encrypted notifications are relayed by your browser’s push provider, such as Apple, Google or Mozilla. Lock-screen previews are generic and do not contain conversation text or lesson content. Push delivery records expire after 90 days; device subscriptions expire after 180 days without a settings update, or are removed when the provider reports them invalid. You can disconnect the device in Notification preferences or block notifications in your browser settings. Email and push choices are independent.

Optional advertising measurement

With your permission, we send Meta confirmed trial starts and successful subscription payments, along with the pass and monthly or annual billing period, a hashed email and account identifier, and an ad click identifier when available. Hashing helps match accounts; it does not make this information anonymous. Meta uses it to measure advertising performance. We do not send clinical discussions, community content, lesson activity, patient information, passwords or payment card details.

Measurement is off until you explicitly accept it. Declining does not affect your membership. A previous visit-only choice is not permission for server signup or payment events. Global Privacy Control turns optional measurement off in this browser. You can withdraw below for your account and in Privacy choices on the sales site for that browser. Withdrawal stops future sends; it cannot recall information already sent to Meta. Campaign and ad labels from the checkout journey are stored privately to compare advertising with verified billing events. Do not put personal or clinical information in campaign links. Delivery and campaign attribution records are kept for up to 90 days.

Turning this on here applies to future verified payments; it does not backfill earlier trials or purchases.

External destinations

Billing, CME claims, and event registration may open connected services outside this app. Information you submit there is handled by that destination. Only submit the information needed for the task.

Account security and questions

Staff must verify an authenticator code to publish or moderate. You can manage your authenticator on Account security.

For privacy questions, account corrections, or a request to delete app data, contact info@resusx.com. Do not include patient information, passwords, or verification codes. Cancel a paid plan through Billing & plan separately from any app-data request.
